Onboarding Flow Map

Every path a new customer walks, one chapter each: who does it, in what order, which steps cannot be skipped, and where every skip lands afterwards. For Gera and Fede to agree the shape before anyone builds it.

2026-09-16 · wave 1 SHIPPED 2026-09-17 (twenty-three PRs) · wave 2 shipped 2026-09-18 05:30Z (nine PRs) · wave 3 shipped 2026-09-18 from Gera's 01:15 CDT walk-through (thirteen PRs, all merged): the inbox step redesigned around the Gmail experience, the Google consent moved onto the inbox, Clara writing from it, second-admin routing, four login fixes, the invite logo. Chapter 1 now shows every screen per person; chapter 4 is the new screen in its three states; chapter 9 is the ledger; chapter 10 has the wave-3 lanes.

The verdict, in plain English

Three actors hand the customer to each other. PropFlow staff set the company up and invite one admin. The admin connects AppFolio, connects the inbox Clara reads and writes from, and invites the team. Each teammate signs in and does at most one thing. Staff flip the live switch.

One step is required: AppFolio. Everything else has a default and a home in Settings, so a skip is never a dead end.

Wave 1 shipped 2026-09-17. The same evening the founders ruled on four things (chapter 9): the admin is never asked for a calendar, every invited teammate except view-only is; the "who books tours?" question goes; billing joins the pre-launch checklist and the customer gets their own copy of that checklist. Wave 2 shipped the same night; wave 3 (chapter 10) shipped on 2026-09-18. Its biggest piece is half of the one thing this map had always listed as missing: Clara now writes from a customer's Gmail (#9373, #9376). Reading that Gmail is the piece still in flight (lane P). Still not built: replying inside AppFolio. Waiting on a Stripe test key: the unit count feeding the subscription.
