Vendor costs ask staff to pick a company on All companies

Staff on All companies used to read every building on the platform and one invoice read per building to draw this page. Now the page asks for a pick and reads nothing (ADR-0136 §1a).

Data note. Every name and balance below comes from propflow-stage, which is anonymized by construction (ADR-0097/0110 — phones in the impossible +1000 NPA, emails @example.test). The identical capture against prod would carry real tenants' names and balances and is not safe to attach anywhere, which is why the generator refuses to run against one.

1 · All companies: a pick-a-company notice, and no figures

Signed in as the platform-staff smoke identity on the All companies address (?org=*). The page shows its usual Vendor Costs header and one notice: Pick a company to see its vendor costs. with the next step under it. There are no spend cards, no vendor table and no $0 figures. That matters because an empty total would read as "this company spent nothing". Nothing is read to draw this page, and no island is mounted, so nothing polls either.

Asserted in the captured DOM — Vendor Costs · Pick a company to see its vendor costs. · Choose a company or a building in the top-left. Vendor costs are not added up for every company at once.. The header and both sentences of the notice are on screen.

2 · Control: one company picked, and the costs page is back

The same staff login with one stage company picked in the address (the same anonymized company the sibling captures use). The page is the ordinary vendor-costs view, with its spend, vendor and invoice cards, and no notice. The refusal is only for the missing choice, not for staff. With no company picked and nothing saved, the smoke login lands on Every company and gets the notice above, which is the same refusal.

Asserted in the captured DOM — Vendor Costs · Vendors by Spend · Unique vendor contacts · Parsed from email + PDF. The cost cards and the vendor table render once a company is picked (this stage company has no parsed invoices, so the figures are 0 and the total is a dash).
