Board row p00-operator-vocabulary, part 5. The person sense of the word operator leaves the product screens in favour of "staff" / "a staff member" (design-final.md D1, decider receipt f71e8dfd0); the company sense stays. Before and after of the collections Stage filter, where a customer's team reads it.

Data note. Every name and balance below comes from propflow-stage, which is anonymized by construction (ADR-0097/0110 — phones in the impossible +1000 NPA, emails @example.test). The identical capture against prod would carry real tenants' names and balances and is not safe to attach anywhere, which is why the generator refuses to run against one.
This is main today. Open the Stage filter on the collections list: the note under the header says the stage is derived from operator notes, using the word for a person that Phase 00 gives to the company instead.
Asserted in the captured DOM — Derived from the ledger, collections mail and operator notes. The old wording is on screen on main.
Same page, same click. The note now says staff notes, the decided word for the people using PropFlow (design-final.md D1: "Staff is the mass noun for the humans using PropFlow: one person is a staff member"). Nothing else on the screen moves: the change is the one word. The other customer-facing line, on a paused contact limit ("a staff member set the limit to zero"), only appears when a limit is set to zero, which no account on the test data has; it is pinned by a rendered component test instead (ContactLoadPanel.test.tsx).
Asserted in the captured DOM — Derived from the ledger, collections mail and staff notes. The new wording is on screen, and the word operator is not in this note.
Four admin-only lines also switch to "staff member" (the tools catalog label, the Pipeline Lab not-sent notes, a credential-history entry, and the eval-run abort message). No text, email or call wording to residents, prospects or vendors changes: a sweep of every send path found no message that uses operator for a person. The word keeps its company meaning on the public site and in owner-operator. Older labels that say "Team member" for the same person are a tracked follow-up. A new automatic check stops the person sense of operator coming back to a product screen.
