Data note. Every name and balance below comes from propflow-stage, which is anonymized by construction (ADR-0097/0110 — phones in the impossible +1000 NPA, emails @example.test). The identical capture against prod would carry real tenants' names and balances and is not safe to attach anywhere, which is why the generator refuses to run against one.
1 · Every unlocked rule offers a change
Each rule the company has not locked now shows Change for this building. Use company default appears only when the building has its own value, and it stays offered even under a lock, so a value saved before the lock can always be removed.
Not shown: stage holds no pet charges for this building, so the locked and set-here rows are pinned by page.edit.dom.test.tsx instead. I did not write to stage: a save here would create a knowledge row that clearing cannot remove.

2 · The editor, and a typo caught on the page
Opening Pet deposit and typing a word instead of a number: Save is refused on the page, with a plain sentence, and nothing is sent to the server.
Asserted in the captured DOM — Save · Cancel · Enter a dollar amount, for example 300.. The editor is open and the typo message is on screen; no write happened.
