In plain terms. 26 residents at real buildings are on hold right now, and Clara stays silent for each one until a person clears it by hand. Nothing ever ends a hold on its own. Should a quiet hold end by itself after 7 days when no one on staff owes that resident an answer, so Clara can answer them again if they write in?
The full question, as raised

Conversation.status='escalated' is a mute with no expiry (stale-mute-sweep.ts header: auto-release deferred to Fede 2026-08-18, never raised as a block). Daily stale-mute report on 2026-11-04 lists 26 stale holds on production properties (4 new/changed: Lampliter, Pomona Park, Situs, appfolio-174 — all verified real residents in propflow-prod). Proposal: a Temporal timer in the escalation workflow flips status back to active after 7 days with no message when no open staff-owed matter is tied to it; release sends nothing outbound, it only lets Clara answer the resident's NEXT inbound. Staff-owed holds stay held and stay on the report.

Why, and what was tried
The session raising this recommends: Yes: end quiet holds after 7 days when no one owes them an answer
The daily report has listed the same stale holds for weeks while those residents get no reply; releasing only stops the silence and sends nothing by itself.
Tried first, unsuccessfully: Read the report code (report-only by design, auto-release deferred 2026-08-18), confirmed all 4 new holds are real residents at real buildings in propflow-prod, searched open decisions for an existing expiry block (none). Did not open a patch PR: the bake-alert class has had several fix rounds and none touched hold expiry.
