In plain terms. Should this session put a Vercel deploy setting into our code, so Fede can then delete the copy in Vercel?
The full question, as raised

The Vercel production build depends on NEXT_IGNORE_TYPESCRIPT_ERRORS being set, and that variable exists only in the Vercel dashboard — if it is deleted the type check silently returns and no repo diff shows it. Saving is $0: this protects a saving we already have. Should this be opened as work, or recorded as a risk for a founder and left closed? The decider escalated it on a money class gate, and its two passes both chose opening it, in a specific order: this session ships a one-line scripts/build.sh change so the repo sets the variable, then Fede deletes the dashboard copy so there is one source of truth. Deleting the dashboard variable is a write to live third-party settings, which is Fede's to make, not an agent's.

Why, and what was tried
The session raising this recommends: Yes — put it in our code, then Fede deletes the Vercel copy
The order is the whole point, and it is the part this session had wrong before the decider read it. Two independent decider passes both chose this, and both found the other option actively harmful: if the Vercel copy is deleted before our code sets it, the type check silently returns on every production deploy, every deploy gets slower and dearer, and nothing in our code would show it — the exact regression at issue. Safe sequence: merge the one-line change to scripts/build.sh (reviewed, reversible, this session's to ship), confirm a real production build log still reads 'Skipping validation of types', and only then hand Fede the deletion. Fede's part is only that last step.
Model receiptFABLE was asked, and escalated. Receipt f7f29cd62 — NEEDS HUMAN.
Both passes agreed on 'Open it as a dock row: set the variable in scripts/build.sh under $VERCEL now, and carry the dashboard-variable deletion as a founder action the row waits on', and it is being escalated anyway: this question turns on money or a commitment to a person (matched '$0'), which is not a model's to settle however confident it sounds.

Paid for on 2026-08-07: the unit-607 renewal rate came back RESOLVED from both passes at high confidence and was wrong — Fable found the standup ruling about the move-in SPECIAL and missed the correction posted 2h21m later saying she had actually…

In plain terms. Could Gera open Vercel's Settings > Billing > Spend Management and read out the spend limit shown there? The $200 budget every Vercel cost report has been measured against was never read from Vercel - it was inferred from the wording of their warning email - and it cannot be read through the API at all, so only a person looking at that page can settle it.
The full question, as raised

The ~$200/cycle target is unconfirmed. An authenticated lane (driver vercel-build-audit, 2026-10-12) probed the billing API directly: the only limit exposed is billing.controls = {analyticsSpendLimitInDollars: 500}, a Web Analytics cap, and every Spend Management path returned 404. The cycle total ($609-$671) and the Build CPU Minutes line ($562.55) ARE genuine API reads from /v1/invoices/upcoming; the budget is not. Impact: every 'X% over budget' figure in the spending thread, and the acceptance target of the find-vercel-cuts board, rests on an email's phrasing. The measured spend does not change either way - only whether the target is real.

Why, and what was tried
The session raising this recommends: Gera reads out the real number instead
Nobody has read this page, so the honest prior is unknown rather than 'the email was right'. Whatever it says, the measured spend figures stand; what changes is whether we have been quoting a real target or a remembered one.
Tried first, unsuccessfully: No model rung can answer this: the value exists only in a browser UI behind a Vercel login, and the API 404s on every Spend Management path (measured by the vercel-build-audit billing lane, 2026-10-12). There was nothing for Fable or Astra to weigh - it is not a judgement, it is a fact nobody has written down.
