In plain terms. The nightly check that confirms Clara's opt-out protections still work in prod has been dark since Sep 3 — the login it uses expired and the auto-refresh can't sign back in because a password is missing from a config file on the mini. Adding it fixes this permanently; leaving it means someone has to notice and refresh it by hand every ~week.
Fable recommends: Add SMOKE_PASSWORD (and SMOKE_EMAIL if not smoke@propflowai.co) to ~/code/PropFlow/propflowai/.env.local on the mini, then I'll run refresh-prod-cookies.ts by hand to unblock tonight
The refresher (scripts/canary/refresh-prod-cookies.ts) already runs nightly via Agent Smith's queue and would self-heal every future expiry — it just can't sign in without SMOKE_PASSWORD, which was never added (flagged as a known gap in docs/planning/prod-cookie-auto-refresh.md at ship time)
