In plain terms. The nightly spine check, and very likely the AppFolio sync canary, stopped working because their private copies of the code have month-old installed packages and can't load a package added on Nov 2. The shared setup script in Gera's ~/.claude refreshes the code every night but never the packages, and that file is outside what Smith may edit. Should someone add a package refresh to that script (only when the package list changed) and refresh the six cron copies once?
The full question, as raised
~/.claude/scripts/lib/fresh-main-worktree.sh ensure_fresh_main_worktree does 'reset --hard origin/main' but never syncs node_modules. Cron worktrees' node_modules date from Aug 6 / Sep 4; propflowai #24482/#24485 (2026-11-02) added workspace package @propflow/phone imported by src/lib/data/claim-normalization.ts, so scripts/spine-health-check.ts dies MODULE_NOT_FOUND (reproduced read-only 2026-11-03). Affected worktrees: spine-health, pms-sync-canary, placeholder-tripwire, prod-cookie-refresh, conv-report, alarm-digest (+graphify-refresh shape). Fix A: after reset, compare stored shasum of package-lock.json vs current; on mismatch run 'npm ci' in the worktree; plus one-time npm ci in each worktree. Helper commit 3aaf427 is unrelated history, not a prior fix. Smith's root policy edit scope excludes ~/.claude/scripts/lib.
Why, and what was tried
The session raising this recommends: Add a package refresh to the shared script One fix at the shared script covers all seven nightly jobs and only reinstalls when the package list changes; borrowing mixes two code trees Tried first, unsuccessfully: Reproduced the failure read-only, confirmed every cron copy lacks the new packages, checked no prior fix exists in 30 days; did not edit or reinstall because ~/.claude/scripts is outside Smith's allowed edit scope
